Planet buys Julphar arm for Dh150m BY A STAFF REPORTER |

DUBAI —
Abdul Razzaq Yousef, CEO
of Julphar and Shailesh
Dash, Senior
Vice-President of Global
signed an agreement for
Dh150 Million to cover
Julphar Drug Store and
Awafi Drug Store in UAE.
Both are
the distribution arms of
Gulf Pharmaceutical
Industries with a
turnover of more than
Dh100 Million per year.
With this acquisition,
Planet Pharmacies LLC
will have an exclusive
distribution right for
Julphar products in UAE
for a minimum of 10
years with renewable
agreement and will
transfer all accounts of
Julphar Drug Store and
Awafi Drug Store
