RAS AL KHAIMAH — The General Secretariat of the GCC granted yesterday the Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries (Julphar) a Dh.132 million contract to supply the GCC countries with 86 different medical formulae for this year.
The contract comes as part of the annual Unified Medicines Purchase Agreement (UMPA) of the GCC countries. "We are very proud to be granted such honour which consolidates the already strong position of the company as the biggest medicines producer in the region," Abdulrazaq Yousif, Managing Director of the Julphar said.
The RAK-based industry produces more than 470 different formulae of high quality and international recognition.
